Here’s a landscape lesson from my preschooler group (4 to 5 years old), a great way to finish the year…

We made and cut out blotter bugs on copier paper using tempera paints (another primary colour exploration project, of course).

The kids were supposed to make their own landscapes with me only giving ideas about what they can have in a landscape but like all the other projects involving this particular group of kids, they ended up adding the same subjects.

But of course, being as creative as we are, we simply can’t resist adding a beautiful dolphin and a one-eyed pirate sun even if it’s a grassy landscape.
