…in baby’s poop.
My mother used to tell that her first baby (my elder sister) swallowed a small safety pin when she was about 1 yr old. They rushed her to the doctor but the doctor said there was nothing to worry as the pin was safely closed when she swallowed, and to look for it in her poop. The next day, my mom had to dig her poop to find the safety pin.
All these years I had been wondering how my mother could dig another person’s poop. YUCK.
But now, almost everyday I find something in my son’s poop. Carrots and papaya that do not even change color during the excretion process, small bits of paper, mustard seeds, thats how the list goes.
And today it was half a peanut that he had swallowed yesterday. Thanks to the small size of baby’s poops, that we don’t really have to dig.
